Questions & answers

Does it come with a disc drive?

No. The PS5 Pro is digital only out of the box. The detachable Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc Drive is sold separately and clips onto the side of the console.

Do I need a new TV to see the difference?

A 4K display is where PSSR and the extra GPU power show most clearly, and HDMI 2.1 with 120Hz helps in performance modes. It still runs on a 1080p set.

Will my PS5 games and saves transfer over?

Yes. The full PS5 and PS4 library runs on Pro, and games and saves move across over Wi-Fi, a LAN cable, or an external USB drive.

Can I add more storage?

Yes. The 2TB SSD is expandable through the internal M.2 NVMe slot, and a USB drive can hold PS4 games plus archived PS5 titles.
