The Liberty 5 sits below Soundcore's flagship buds but inherits most of the interesting parts. Adaptive ANC 3.0 samples the room continuously and reshapes the cancellation curve as conditions change, and Soundcore rates voice reduction at roughly twice what the Liberty 4 NC managed.

Sound comes from 9.2mm wool-paper drivers with bass tubes behind them, and LDAC carries higher-bitrate streams from Android. Six microphones handle calls.

Do I need an Android phone to use LDAC?

In practice, yes. LDAC is an Android codec, so iPhones fall back to AAC. The buds sound the same in every other respect, but the higher-bitrate stream is an Android feature.

Can they stay connected to two devices at once?

Yes. Multipoint holds two connections, so a laptop call can interrupt music from your phone. Multipoint and LDAC cannot run at the same time, so the app asks you to choose one.

Are they secure enough for running and the gym?

The IP55 rating covers sweat and rain, and the stem shape with a correctly sized tip holds through most training. They are not sealed for swimming or submersion.

How do I know I picked the right ear tip?

Run the fit test in the Soundcore app. It plays a tone through each bud and reports whether the seal is good, which matters more for bass and noise cancelling than any setting.

Does the case charge wirelessly?
