Product details

A pair of replacement side panels that swap the PS5 Slim's white shell for a metallic cobalt blue. The factory covers pull off by hand, the new ones snap onto the same clips, and the whole change takes about a minute with nothing to unscrew.

These are the slim model group covers, so they suit the Slim in either configuration: leave the drive side sealed on a Digital Edition, or fit them over a console that already has the Disc Drive installed. They do not fit the PS5 Pro or the original launch console, which use different shells.

Questions & answers

Will these fit a PS5 Pro?

No. The Pro has a taller shell with a different vent layout and takes its own set of covers. These are for the slim model group only, which is why they are listed against the Slim consoles rather than the Pro.

Do they fit the Digital Edition?

Yes. The Slim and the Slim Digital Edition share one chassis, and the disc drive sits underneath the cover rather than changing its shape, so a single set of covers suits both.

Do I need any tools?

No. Stand the console on a soft surface, ease each factory cover away from the corner nearest the rear, then press the new panel on until it clicks along its full length.

Do they affect cooling?

No. The vents and intake openings are cut to the same pattern as the covers Sony ships on the console, so airflow through the chassis is unchanged.

Can I put the white covers back on later?

Yes. Nothing is glued or cut, so the originals refit exactly as they came off. Keep them somewhere flat, since a warped panel will not sit flush.
