Questions & answers

Does this iPad run Apple Intelligence?

No. Apple Intelligence needs an M-series chip or an A17 Pro, so this A16 model does not include those features. Everything else in iPadOS works normally.

Which Apple Pencil should I buy?

Apple Pencil (USB-C) is the straightforward choice and clips magnetically to the side for storage. Apple Pencil (1st generation) also works, but it needs the USB-C to Apple Pencil adapter to pair and charge. Apple Pencil Pro is not supported.

Is there a keyboard for it?

Yes. The Magic Keyboard Folio attaches magnetically and adds a trackpad and a function row, and any Bluetooth keyboard pairs as well. Both are sold separately.

How is it different from the iPad Air?

The Air moves up to the M3 chip, adds Apple Intelligence and Apple Pencil Pro support, and includes a slightly brighter, faster overall experience. The base iPad covers browsing, video, notes and schoolwork for far less.

Will 128GB be enough for a student?

For notes, textbooks, streaming and a normal set of apps, comfortably. Choose 256GB if you plan to keep large offline video libraries or big art files on the device, since storage cannot be added later.
