Is the screen in color?

No. The Paperwhite uses a black-and-white E Ink panel, which is what gives it the paper-like contrast and the long battery life. Kindle Colorsoft is the color model.

Can I borrow library books on it?

Yes. In the US, Libby and OverDrive can deliver borrowed titles straight to your Kindle over Wi-Fi with your library card.

Does a wall charger come in the box?

Only a USB-C cable is included. Any standard USB-C phone charger will do; a 9 W adapter reaches a full charge in roughly two and a half hours.

Can I read my own EPUB files?

Yes, through Send to Kindle by email, the web uploader or the app. DRM-free EPUB files are converted automatically; files locked to another store are not supported.

Can I listen to audiobooks?
