Questions & answers

Is the pen included or sold separately?

The Premium Pen is in the box. It is battery-free, attaches magnetically to the side of the device, and adds a soft eraser on the top plus a customisable shortcut button.

Is the screen in colour?

No. This model uses a black-and-white E Ink panel. Kindle Scribe Colorsoft is the colour version, at a higher price.

Can I write directly in books and PDFs?

Yes. You can add sticky notes in most Kindle books and write straight onto PDFs and other imported documents, then export the marked-up file by email.

How does this differ from the cheaper Scribe without a front light?

The hardware is otherwise close. This one adds the adjustable, auto-dimming front light with a warm setting, so it can be used in a dark room without a lamp.

Is a power adapter included?

Only a USB-C cable ships in the box. Any standard USB-C phone charger works for topping it up.
