The 13-inch iPad Pro uses a tandem OLED panel Apple calls Ultra Retina XDR: 1000 nits across the full screen, 1600 nits peak for HDR, and 120Hz ProMotion, all in a 5.1 mm body.

The M5 chip handles multicam video timelines and 3D work, and Wi-Fi 7 through Apple's N1 chip speeds up moving finished files off the device. The Thunderbolt port drives external displays and fast SSDs directly.

It pairs with Apple Pencil Pro and the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro, both sold separately. This is the tablet for production work rather than couch reading.

Is an Apple Pencil or keyboard included?

No, both are sold separately. The 13-inch iPad Pro works with Apple Pencil Pro, Apple Pencil (USB-C) and the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro.

Will my M4 iPad Pro accessories fit?

The M5 model keeps the same 11.09 x 8.48 x 0.20 inch footprint as the M4 generation, so the Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro and most M4-era folios and cases fit.

Which storage size should I pick?

256GB is fine for documents, drawing and light video. If you shoot ProRes or keep large project libraries on the device, 1TB or 2TB is the safer choice since storage cannot be expanded later.

Does this model have cellular data?

No. This is the Wi-Fi configuration. Apple sells a separate cellular version that adds 5G through the C1X modem and eSIM support.

Can it replace a laptop?

For writing, design, photo and video work, often yes, with Stage Manager, external display output and the Files app. It runs iPadOS apps only, so desktop macOS software will not install.
